How Do You Set Up a Balsam Hill Flip Tree?
Follow the simple steps below to create a picture-perfect Christmas tree display. With Balsam Hill Canada’s Flip Tree®, setup is quick, effortless, and designed to make your decorating experience truly enjoyable.
Step 1: Wheel To Display Area
Roll the bottom section of your tree from the shipping box to your chosen display area, then carefully remove the storage bag.
Step 2: Lock the Wheels
Step down on the locking mechanism of each wheel to secure the stand and keep your tree safely in place.
Step 3: Flip the Tree Base
Press the foot pedal on the same side as the stand bar to unlock the base. While holding the pedal down, gently flip the tree base toward you until it locks securely into place.
Step 4: Attach the Tree Top
Remove the top section of your tree from its storage bag and insert it into the pole on the base. For taller trees, the top portion may come in two pieces, simply connect them before securing in place.

How Do You Take Down a Flip Christmas Tree?
Follow these simple steps to take down your Flip Tree® and preserve its beauty for many Christmas seasons to come. With proper care and storage, your Balsam Hill Canada tree will continue to bring holiday joy year after year.
Step 1: Remove Decorations
Unplug your pre-lit Christmas tree and carefully remove all decorations before storing.
Step 2: Disassemble Tree Parts
Step down on the locking mechanism of each wheel to secure the stand before removing the tree sections.
Step 3: Unlock the Tree
Press the foot pedal, then gently flip the tree base toward you until it locks securely into storage mode.
Step 4: Place Into Storage Bag
Pull the storage bag up and over the tree base. Close the bag securely, then buckle the straps to keep your tree protected during storage.
Step 5: Wheel Into Storage
Unlock the wheels and roll your tree into a cool, dry space to protect it from damage during the off-season.
