Disassembling Your Tree
- Detach the lights – For non-Easy Plug™ trees, unplug the light connections between each section. If your tree isn’t pre-lit, carefully unstring the lights and store them separately.
- Compress the branches – Use both hands to gently flatten the foliage on each branch before removing the section. Then flip the section over and press the branches together to save space.
- Secure with ribbon – Tie a ribbon or cord around each section to keep the branches compact and make the tree easier to handle and store.
Storing Tree Sections
- Prepare the storage bag(s) – Unzip and open the storage bags provided with your tree.
- Store the sections – Place the tree sections in the bag like a pair of shoes in a box, with the pole positioned in the centre. For larger trees, put the odd-numbered sections in one bag and the even-numbered sections in the other.
- Seal the bag – Zip the bag closed to protect the tree from dust, pests, and moisture during storage.
